About me

Growing up, I lacked a clear understanding of how to connect with myself or others in a meaningful, healthy way. This left me feeling like an outsider, as though I didn’t truly belong anywhere. Constantly scanning my surroundings and gauging others’ emotional states to determine how to interact left me burnt out and unanchored.

That changed the moment I picked up a camera. Time seemed to slow down, and I found myself fully immersed in the present. Photography offered a space free of judgment or pretence - a space of pure curiosity, mindfulness, and joy. Through this medium, I discovered a profound connection to myself and the world around me.

My formal studies at the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam provided me with a strong technical and conceptual foundation. Although life led me down a different path for some time, I am now dedicating my life to photography, honouring it as both a craft and a calling.

My work explores the power of vulnerability and the depth of human connection, both with others and with ourselves.

I am drawn to the tension between what we reveal and what we conceal, questioning the boundaries of honesty and self-expression.

Through my images, I seek to capture the unpolished and vulnerable aspects of our existence, inviting viewers to reflect on their own willingness to embrace authenticity.
